this morning we walked outside to get in the car and go to school and anna goes,
“MOM! ITS FROGGY OUT!”
:)
thank you so so so much for all of the amazingly nice and wonderful comments on my last three posts. you guys really know how to make someone feel special. seriously…THANK YOU. its been fun reading the comments. im so glad the photos touched you like they touched me.
ive got my first travel session this weekend in arizona-ill be there saturday and sunday. cant wait.
Your kids are always dressed so stinkin’ cute! =)
Good thing you chose AZ over MA – we’re having a freak snowstorm; some places are expecting a foot of snow! Enjoy your time! Can’t wait to see the shots you get.
wow!! you’re pictures are always so amazing, but the fog (frog!!) really adds something, especially for me, who lives way up in manitoba (canada) and thinks that you always have sunshine!!!
can i really be the first one to post? surely this is proof enough to you that i READ YOUR BLOG (and i love it). and anna!
you could sop her up with some soda bread. she’s too stinking cute for words.
have fun in Arizona..can’t wait to see the fruits of your labors!
Bring tank tops and shorts! Record heat for the last 2 days…
Ok, I think this may be one of my favorite shots of yours EVER! I absolutely LOVE the contrast here…the dull and the bright! Simply AMAZING Tara!
i know i already left a comment, but i had a question… did you use a flash with this picture…this is from someone who is really trying to learn the ins and outs of photography…and since you moderate the comments, you don’t actually have to post this one if you have time to answer me through email!! but if you do choose to post this… i’ll leave you a positive, reaffirming comment that your pictures inspire me!!
ha! froggy. too cute! i love kids’ pronunciation glitches. bay dropped his playdoh today and yells “kuh-WAP!”
crap. my 3yo yells crap. :P
I miss waking up to froggy mornings. Some of my favorite growing up memories involve the feeling of froggy mornings whether it was on the way to school or just cuddling on the couch watching the shapes appear & disappear in the “frog”. *grin*
Hope you have fun in Arizona
Such a beautiful photo. Been looking through your old posts & photos – awesome. Will keep coming back for sure – I’m a sucker for beautiful photos :) Have a nice weekend! :)
shayla-no flash used. i dont own one and i never use my on camera flash. :) i metered for her face to make sure she was exposed properly.
OK, I LOVE all your pics, but this has to be the best pic EVER!!! Love the fog, and Anna, she is just sooo cute. Thanks for all the inspiration, you Rock!!
Hi Tara!!! You got so many comments on your previous post that I don`t know if you saw mine on this:
*****************
This is beautiful Tara! Photos and words!!! Ah, may I ask you something…I remember looking at your blog once, few months ago and am I crazy or you used to have a profile page/about page where you talked about your lenses and camera and I also remember you mentioning Jinky’s work! I’m sure it was here not elsewhere….am I nuts or such page no longer exists? ;-)
what an expression! love her style and haircut :)
Great picture! Froggy days are good days for picture taking. ;)
too cute! we talked about the ‘frog’ in my house too (still do and my girls are 20 and 15 now!) …ours came from Kermit on Sesame Street, I think, who visited London and commented on the London F(r)og. love your photos and inspiration – thanks!
Anna is just too cute!! Love this picture and especially her expression. You inspire me girl.
FROGGY! So stinkin cute! Love the photo! And the amazing photos of the “generations” they truly are beautiful!
Hope you had fun in AZ!
Love your work Tara!! TFS it with us :)
LOVE IT!!! when we lived in Costa Mesa, we would have fog liek this almost every morning and we would play tag in it before school!
REALLY neat. I love this photograph, especially because I bought this SAME outfit for my daughter a month ago and can’t wait for her to fit into it. Mervyn’s ROCKS…at least that is what the store is called here in Utah. Love you Tara!
love F*R*O*G*G*Y…have to scrap that tara!
thanks for sharing and the chuckle it gave me.
too sweet!
gotta love a froggy day every now & again!
We say Froggy, too – must be a SoCal thing =)
I love it! My girls call it “thoggy”. We can’t stand to correct them. It’s so cute.
