i just edited and uploaded this image through www.picnik.com. an online photo editing website i heard about through my fave photo newsletter, Photojojo!
How cool is this? Especially for people without photoshop, or photoshop knowledge…this program does a really good job.
ed. i wanted to process this in photoshop to see the difference. so here is what i did in photoshop, to compare. this pic wasnt the best. the kids are totally out of focus, but its the only one i got, so oh well!
I just saw the same newsletter. I haven’t been able to try it yet. Glad to see it works well. I was excited to pass it on to my non photoshop user friends.
Cool!! I get photojojo too!! I love it!!
Have you tried out Adobe lightroom?? It is pretty sweet!
Cool site. And very cool photo!
Although I have Photoshop, I’ll definitely try this out! Thanks for the tip Tara!!!
Oooh…thanks for sharing! I will have to check this out, as I’m one of the sad souls with no photoshop.
yeah, your processing is waaaaay too much better! ;-)
super cool!
Way cool. I’m a totally Photoshop terrified, so this could be a nice solution! Thanks for the tip, Tara! :)
I think the picnik edited one looks very grainy, but this monitor (laptop) tends to ‘blow out’ whites.
I’ve noticed that you have a lot of darkness around the corners of your images lately. Is that since you went full frame with the 5D or is that something you are doing on purpose?
oh my – people without photoshop knowledge – who on earth?!!! tee hee…thanks for helping us technologically challenged peeps!
Thanks for offering the website, what exactly do you do to your pictures, like with the contrast, etc.
Tara, we’re moving to WA state & would love to take advantage of you being there in Aug– in a good way, of course! LOL! Hmmm…will see what your availability is! WOW!
Just wanted to drop a note to say thanks for all you do!
Would have loved to see the original image, so I could better appreciate the processing you did… did you just pop colors, or do something else as well?
