  1. So jealous…I could spend hours in that place. Your decorations look so perfect. Did you find that house with the heart picture at the same store? Love that!

  2. OMG- I would love to go to that store….just so I could look at all those letters! Love what you did on your wall Tara! Very cool framed picture- who made that?

  3. When I read that back in October I actually contacted them trying to talk them into selling me something via the net…they said they couldn’t. They would make a fortune if they went online with their sales!!!! Love the letters!!

  4. oh. my. goodness. this place is so cool.
thanks for sharing all the super cool stuff you share. thanks for reminding us all that it is okay to “just be”.

  5. Hi, Tara! I just LOVE what you have done with your letters from our store, and for all your enthusiastic, heartfelt comments. We have received a number of emails from people seeing your blog and wanting to create something of their own.
Up till now, we have tended to shy away from long-distance sales because I believe each word or phrase is a piece of art. It is best when the artist– the one who comes up with a special expression for her or his wall– chooses each letter. With that as a caveat, we are certainly willing to hear from people and see whether we can create something together long distance.
We are eager to see you and your friends whenever you come to San Francisco! Just be sure and call first to be sure we are open!
    All best,
    Joan

  6. Cool, I know I mentioned it on your blog so glad to see that you went, knew it would be your thing. They have a blog too, so you can see all the cool stuff they get in.

  7. I saw this post on your blog ages ago and have dreamed about this store ever since – you think I am kidding but I’m not. I have imagined words, phrases, & names that I could put all over my home with the letters from this store. I have wondered about what other treasures wait behind the doors of this magical store.

And now I am finally off to San Francisco next weekend with a friend and our girls to have a girls weekend away and I hear the angels singing because I get to go to TImeless Treasures. I am giddy!

Thank you so much for posting about this store. I love when folks share cool finds. Growing up my mom would always tell me as I walked out the door “remember who you are and don’t come back without the treasure” Well, I am Denise Baker and I’m spending the hubby’s cash and coming back with a car full of treasures – thanks for the advice mom.

  8. I went, I saw, I spent! Hundreds of dollars later (& still could’ve spent more) I am home with my treasured letters. When Joan found out I was from OC she asked if I knew you – I wanted so badly to say that you were my BFF and would be meeting me later for dessert but I told the truth and said I was your stalker.

The store is to die for. Going there was one of the highlights of my trip so thanks for the tip on your blog.

I haven’t gotten nearly all my letters up but I did temporarily put up a few. If you are interested you can check it out on my blog http://www.thebakerfam.blogspot.com/2008/06/letters-letters-more-letters-oh-my.html

  9. This comment is a little late on this post, but I was just in this store last week and the proprietor told me about you so I had to find your words on your blog. I love it! That store is amazing and I too want to spend hundreds of dollars on words for my home.
