is what i said, jokingly, after sneezing about fifty times in the car on the way home from camping.
we were camping in santa barbara at cachuma lake for the weekend. i took a full card (1gig) of images and i am keeping 166. so many turned out so good.
just one quick share right now-i cant get enough of this kid. i swear. i cant get enough.
more later-now i have to put everything away and wash away the campfire from our pillows and clothes.
and i will respond to any emails that were sent to me over the next few days.

Tara, my family visits SB every year, and I know a way to do it super-cheap and without camping (we’re both teachers, so we can’t afford, say SB Inn). E-mail me if you want to know where I stay and eat to keep it cheap without so much, uh, nature!
sounds fun!! cute pics…can’t wait ot see more from your trip! :)
more, more!! I can hardly wait for more! LOVE her braids.
LOL our joke is that Alex only likes fake nature like that found in the Target garden department or on the Disney Jungle Cruise. Glad you had a good time. Anna is ADORABLE!
you’ve been missed by this refresher! those camping trips are worth the benedryl! (at least to me, lol)
…can’t wait to see your photos; camping is something i have tons of pictures of & there is just no inspiration out there that even compares to yours!
it will be so great to see some real camping application from your lens!
thanks so, so much for all you share :o) you truely are amazing with that camera!
anna’s braids are too freaking cute. if i had kids as photogenic as yours, i’d homeschool ’em just so i can take pictures of them all day long.
on another note, the Husband is after me now to go camping. pray.
She is so flippin cute!
Can’t wait to see the rest.
I, too, am braving the wilderness this weekend to go camping up north in Michigan. I’m sure I’ll be begging for a real shower by Sunday. :)
And Anna … what a doll!

All of your kids are so cute.
Got to love that campfire smell. My husband loves it, and as my mom puts it “You have to be half hobo to love that smell.” ;)

Cachuma is so beautiful! I’ve camped there before….i’m about an hour from Santa Barbara…fun town! Can’t wait to see pics!!
I loved to camp as a kid…you created some great memories for your kiddos that they will relive and remember too. I had my braids in yesterday…yeah I am 41 but still in braids on occasion to relive those camping years of fun and freedom. Any smores? Love them too!
she is too much!
can’t wait to see more.
