  3. Hi Tara…my name is Jordan and Im a freshman art major in college…My concentration is photogrpahy and may i just say i am absolutly inspired by your work…its the exact kind of photography i hope to do one day..a very photojournalistic way of taking daily photos….i was actually at a stump over my spring break trying to complete a photo assignment and i was writing out how frustrated i was that I kept passing by these amazing shots and i made the comment, ‘i just cant let another story get by’ and it hit me, that that was going to be my goal as a photographer: to capture a person’s story, even if only in a single shot…and thats what i see in your work…you capture life through and through…i never thought my passion in art would lead me down a road to photography and who knows what the future may hold, but my passion for this art continues to be ignited…do you have any advice for me to help get pass my insecurites behind a camera and how to achieve my goals as a “life” photographer? Id appreciate any advice…you have truly been blessed with an amazing gift and thank you for sharing it with the world…God bless….Jordan (Jesus1only13@yahoo.com)

    P.s. sorry for writing a book…lol

  5. Hi Tara! I check into your blog once in a while and and want to thank you for your continued inspiration. I know you have people thanking you left, right and center, but as the Anna who asked you at 2peas how you got your photos so crisp? Well I just wanted to let you know that I think I’ve finally cracked it. I have the 85mm 1.8 and the 50mm 1.4 (and 1.8) and love them. Thanks!
