sometimes i get a client who allows me to do something different. i love being able to capture all of the different and special types of family units. young families, little children, babies, mature couples, animals, extended family…..its a great way to keep me on my toes.
for this shoot, the people were amazing. the house was amazing. how do i get so lucky all of the time?

it’s amazing how you can get people to be so COMFORTABLE around you. They seem so relaxed and willing to just let you hang out and take pics while they sit around the table, etc. Do you tell them to read a book? do you just tell them to act normal while you pad around the house snapping random shots? i love it! this shoot looks like it was a blast!!

Great looking pictures… great looking family. How cute that they included their doggies in the pics too. Awwwww! My favs are of the family on the porch. Looks like they’re on a boat. Very cool shot, T. And the one of the girls sitting on the ground with the blue cabinet. That is the coolest looking picture. Its set up so rad – composition wise. I want the same shot for my boys. Do you think your client would mind hosting the pictures for me? She wouldn’t mind two crazy, dirty boys running around her house would she? hee Just kidding. It is a really cool picture … they are all.

I love when you post new shoots! Each family is unique & special — but I have to say this shoot is so darn interesting.
