Fabulous as always! I especially love the ones in the pink room and the too too (sp?)!!!
Tara, you are truly a gifted photographer as we gave you so much trouble! I am so happy with these shots and you caught each of our personalities so well!
I think the stories behind the photos make them even more precious…Chloe running in that one shot away from the family with her lip out clearly over tired (no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t get that kid to stand still)…the girls loving jumping on the couch while Tom looked on in horror (he has strict new couch rules)…Chloe on the chair laughing (that is so my favorite!) and you shot it right before she jumped off…me patting Tom’s cheek trying to get him to loosen up while you told me some of the things I could do to help!…so many funny moments! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for these wonderful photos! Suzy

I’ve been an avid ‘follower’ of your blog since coming across it on Cathy Z’s blog (i’m a scrapbooker!!) and was hooked on it ever since…you totally changed my view of portrait shots! You go, girl!
I know this is a long shot but if you are ever in this part of the world – SIngapore; (a beautiful sunny isle i must say!!) I’d love to have you take shots of me and my significant other..so does that give you an excuse to take a holiday over here?! hahaha!

What kind of lense do you use though, and please can you tell me some technical stuff? I’m so in de learning fase overhere *LOL* trying getting the kids in the right way to sit, stand or whatever just to catch the light in their eyes and stuff. :)

Have you considered creating a flickr account?
It would be great for everyone to post comments on individual pics that each person likes and you can create photo “sets” of each shoot you do. You would just link to your photos sets (e.g., http://www.flickr.com/photos/kbreenbo/sets/) from your blog.
Of all the photo sites out there, I just love flickr because it’s more of a prosumer-user site and very inspirational too.
These are so wonderful! I especially love the ballerina shots in the very girly room. And the mom and dad on their bed. And the whole family walking on the aidewalks shots, and the young man in front of the bricks- such great texture. Did I comment on all of them yet? Because they are all so great :)

that picture looks lke potterybarn hired you to shoot for their catalog!! So precious! You are a Rockin’ photographer! I just came across some family pix you took of us right before we left Cali. Aidan was only about 6 months old I think! I still love them and haven’t had any photos of matt and i together like that since then! It is due time! Maybe we will catch a flight!
