i am sure everyone thinks that about their own.
sometimes i take a shot and just stare at it, taking in every detail of each freckle and eyelash. the slope of the nose. the light dancing in the eyes. searching for clues of the teenage face, the adult face.
soaking up the details, memorizing each one.
the teeth, oh the teeth! i love those teeth.
Its ok, Miss T, you can brag – you do have adorable kids!! And you take magical pics of them. Makes me appreciate the freckles more on my own kids.

thanks guys. :)
hi megan from sc! i have missed hearing from you. hope things are well.
i love the hairflip too. i think its the darkness of his thick lashes and his deep blue eyes against the creamy whiteness of his skin. he is so YUMMY.

Your kids are beautiful! You have a way of bringing out so much in a photograph. Not everyone can do that even if the picture looks great. Your photos are truely timeless.
Yep I agree…. brag away. Your children are gorgeous. You capture this with so much passion in your photography. Man I wish I could photograph my kids like this.
Yes, most everyone feels that same way about their kids… MOST of the time. :) I will admit, sometimes I just have to go scrap photos so I can “fall in love” with my kids again. Sometimes it’s hard considering the amount of banging on my office door whining for me to come out.
they are beautiful.. maybe in 15 years we can set up my daughter with one of your sons… whatta think??
i do that too…Amazing how those little guys can do that to you….
Tara, thanks for the constant inspiration in your photos – and for the candor and real-ness (is that a word?) of your thoughts. I love that I can come here and read and see how much you love not only your subject matter (those darling kids!) but what you do (loved the artist link to the side).
Congrats on all your success. I still hope to one day experience a session with you myself. :)

Oh Tara… what beautiful talent you have… absolutely fantastic. I cannot believe the photos in the links (right side) WOW. I’ll bet you giggle when you see them, thinking “wow, I caught that moment!” Love ’em. (I’m SO craving for a manual focus camera after seeing those…)
Well you DO have some gorgeous kids. And your incredible photography skills make it even better. And you’re right, we all think our kids are the most beautiful little people in the entire world. They are.
Of course he’s gorgeous! He looks so much like his Dad.
Loved the updated links with the pictures in the margin. I smiled to see my little guy there under “home.” Thanks and smooches to you.
I agree. Your kids are gorgeous! And I LOVE the way you photograph them. Inspiring!
I look at my kids like that too, seeing the adults they will become. It always makes me a little sad, but hopeful as well.
Your kids are so lucky to have a mom who appreciates them so much. You are all beautiful!
