Last Friday I was interviewed by Melissa at Framed via Skype. If you haven’t heard of Framed, watch this quick about video. (That made me tear up, thanks very much.)

[FRAMED] will take you on location to local, national, and internationally known photographers for the purpose of bringing a behind-the-scenes view of photography to your computer.  All we ask of you is to share, participate and jump on the train of inspirational photography education to inspire you to be unique.  Be careful, you might get addicted.

I felt a lot of pressure because this was my first time being filmed during an interview. I haven’t ever posted myself on this blog in this way. You guys should have seen me running around all morning before the scheduled call…just a tad nervous. I got the kids to school, threw on some make-up and a cute top (but left on my pajama bottoms), and settled into my office. Once Melissa rang me up I immediately felt at ease – she is just so great at this job, and adorable to boot.

So thank you [Framed] – I can’t wait to meet up with you guys next time you are in SoCal.

and three images that define for me what it is like to have a sister like mckenna. in one instant she will laugh with you and love with you and be present with you until she … suddenly … just doesnt.

until the switch turns off.

one instant she is present and the sparkle is behind her eyes, the next instant its off and she is back inside of herself.
