Josh and Jenny road tripped from Kansas City to Southern California earlier this year. I felt like looking at some happy, sunny, summery photos this morning, although the temperature at our session was quite cold. And super windy. We were not prepared or thrilled that the beach was too cold for the kids, but we rallied and made do with downtown Seal Beach and ice cream cones.

Alexis is a dear friend with benefits. Only the benefits are that she has been doing my hair for over ten years.
This is Alexis and her business partner David, in their new salon Butterfly Loft. I drove up last week to take some promotional photos for their website, and to check out the new space. It is amazing. I am not kidding. Jaw dropping. Coolest space EVER. I could have died. I could have moved in. The windows and the splash of color and the amazing artwork. A super cool place to take pictures and an even cooler place to get your hair done.
