sneak attack

Just realized – I haven’t posted a full session in a long time!

This location was amazing. I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been there before.

I loved the colors that surrounded us. A lot of people don’t like a cloud-less sky, but I love our hazy blues and pinks.

I also loved the swift-kick-to-the-rear-end sneak attack.

We do that in our family as well. My husband’s grammy was really good at nabbing us the same way.

Jalayne and Justin welcomed their baby boy Jax into the world last week.

I will be traveling up soon to meet him, and as you can imagine, I cannot wait.

These were taken in her eighth month, at home.

I love how the dogs are always at her feet.

And I love, love, love, love, love the shape of her pregnant body.

I grew up living next door to orange groves.

The fans that would come on to protect them from frost in the night would lull me to sleep.

We played in them at the risk of getting in trouble, and walked home with fallen, rotten oranges stuck in the soles of our shoes.

The smell of them in the Spring is something everyone should experience at least once.

I just think fruit trees are so beautiful.

Orange trees feel like home.
