I woke up this morning to an email from Michel that our latest home movie was up. I ran over to the computer to watch, and as the opening notes started playing, my hand went up to my mouth as my jaw dropped and tears sprang out of the corners of my eyes. I have zero doubt that this family will do the same to you too.
During our session the same thing happened to me over and over. And over. I would be shooting and tears would spring to my eyes or I would get a lump in my throat as I watched how they connected and loved and played together. Their connection is INCREDIBLE.

WOW – this is the first time I’ve seen such a thing and what a beautiful compliment to your wonderful images. I hope this still/motion collaboration spreads to the East Coast b/c I’d love to have something like this for my family.
Quick ? – what type of video camera is used for this project? I’ve never seen video so crystal clear and real life before.
As usual fantastic photographs and footage, but what really makes all of your movies so special (for me) is the wonderful choice of music that ties it all together…you guys are soo good at what you do!

i didn’t doubt it for a second and you prove it over and over again: you are one truly amazing soul with a gift i wish the whole world could appreciate. i watch these movies with the sound all the way up, as if it’s really a soundtrack for life, and live in the moments captured so perfectly by you and by michel. my soul sings and flies and dances and rests in that love, bringing healing to sore spirits, hope of a future yet unknown, a future living between my ears, yet to be created. consumed completely and totally by the beauty of life and parenthood and family joy, i remember what is good, what is right, what is. i feel the laughter, the hugs, the kisses. and though not my reality, it is a reality. and for that, i am grateful. for them, i am grateful. for you, for michel, for everyone who seeks to remember, to capture, to create, i am grateful.
