one saturday not too long ago i spent the day up in LA, meeting three really awesome families that were connected by the moms, who were friends.
i shot two in clients’ homes, and one at the santa monica pier.
let me rephrase that.
i shot in two AMAAZZZZINGGGG HOMES, and one at the santa monica pier. also amazing, in its own right.
this strikingly blonde group is mothered by a wonderfully smart and natural minded woman who runs an inspiring pre-school called the seed. they are fathered by a man who works for a very popular denim designer and who isnt afraid to get dirty and play with his kids. the children were full of life and personality, and seemed to really enjoy taking me around to all of their favorite nooks and crannies of their home. they included me in their most fun activities, and showed me a beautiful afternoon.
their life seemed a little bit like magic to me.
with denim being a large part of their life, i had to take a photo focused on THE JEANS. i always love how denim translates in black and white.
