this was a grey, wet morning. luckily the big drops held off until we finished, and i kept my camera covered with a towel between shots. but even with the damp weather that felt like you were walking around being misted, everyone kept a sunny face on for me. i feel like i always say “i loved them!” “i had so much fun!” but what else can i say? i loved them! and i had so much fun! its no secret that i love san francisco. my spirits were very high during this trip! man i want to go back.
christmas card???
no…christmas card!!
happy weekend everyone-tonight we are watching a movie outside at the kids school-its going to be chilly, and i love it!
OK Tara.. that first B&W one you posted here.. WOW… all the rest are fab too.. but WOW for that one..
Please share… did you use a special lens or aperture setting to get such sharp shots on the swing and of the boys running, given that it was so cloudy?
i loooooove san francisco…these shots ROCK!
I too love the first B & W. Another WOW!
love alamo square and san fran. love the pics babe!
Hi Tara,
SF is my fav city in the ENTIRE world. The 4th photo in this post – can you tell me what street that park is on? I used to live in the Bay Area and we would go over to the city all the time but I can’t remember where that park with the houses across the street is. Please help! We’re heading back there over Xmas and I really want to go there again. Thanks! Amy
the one with the 2 boys running toward you…amazing.
Tara,
I just don’t think you know how incredible generous it is of you to share your work with all of your blog readers. To be able to see the world through your eyes….it is a rare education. Thank you!
The one in the doorway screams Christmas card to me, as does the one where the boys are running toward the camera.
I love the two shots of the boys. So cute!
They are all great! I love the one of the boys running and holding hands..too sweet! You are awesome!
These are beautiful. I love the architecture of SF. It’s great to see that incorporated into the photos. Love the one of the boy in the swing and the family standing in front of the row of houses. Lots of inspiration as usual.
hi Tara,
Your photos are always gorgeous and I hope to someday have you come up to Berkeley and do a session with my family. But I’ve got a different question for you today: We are heading down to Las Gaviotas for Thanksgiving and though I grew up in Dana Point, have never been there before and was wondering if you might share a couple of your favorite dining spots, things to do, whatever…Thanks in adavance!
